If you haven't had the chance to check out Cut the Rope for iOS you should right now... I'll wait. Fun game right? Not too difficult and lots of levels and the developer is always releasing new levels to keep you busy. Today according to the German USK rating board, Cut the Rope is coming to DSiWare.

No word of a developer just yet but GameSetWatch is calling out Abstraction Games as the developer. The same developer who brought Angry Birds to the Sony PSP.

I know Duke Nukem Forever is getting all the press these days, but there is still another Duke Nukem title coming out besides DNF.  Apogee Software just released a brand new trailer for Duke Nukem: Critical Mass, which will be coming out for the Nintendo DS on May 11th.

If you are hell bent on Collecting them All in Pokémon, you had better plan on getting Pokémon Black Version OR Pokémon White Version between the game's release (March 6th) and April 10th if you were hoping to grab the Victini Pokémon.  Nintendo has announced it will only be available to people who buy the game between those dates.  Here is the official announcement:

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are giving PokémonTM fans yet another reason to get revved up for the March 6 launch of the Pokémon Black Version and  Pokémon White Version video games for the  Nintendo DSTM family of systems. Consumers who purchase either of the new games between launch and April 10 will be able to receive a special Liberty Pass via Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection (broadband Internet access required), which will enable them to catch the never-before-seen Mythical Pokémon VictiniTM.

Victini - the Victory Pokémon - is the first Pokémon that's Psychic- and Fire-type and cannot be obtained through normal game play. It is said that Victini creates an unlimited supply of energy, which it shares with others. This energy source may be the secret to how it brings about victories. Victini's unique and exclusive Victory Star ability not only increases its own accuracy in battle, but also boosts the accuracy of all a player's Pokémon in battle. Victini is a must-have in any Pokémon battle, and is especially useful in Triple Battles, which debut in Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version.

Pokémon Black Version and  Pokémon White Version include more than 150 never-before-seen Pokémon that players can catch, train and battle as they progress through the game. Both games are now available for pre-order from major retailers throughout the United States for a suggested retail price of $34.99 each. A deposit may be required for pre-orders. See individual retailers for details.

SEATTLE, Washington – January 18, 2011 — PopCap Games, the worldwide leader in casual video games, today announced the widely anticipated North American release of Plants vs. Zombies™ for the Nintendo DS®.  Expertly adapted in the PopCap tradition, the game features all of the engaging gameplay included in the PC edition —Adventure, Survival and Puzzle modes—while adding multiplayer action, plus four all-new, exclusive mini-games and 14 achievements.  Available immediately in North America, the game carries an SRP of US$19.95. Plants vs. Zombies for the Nintendo DS will also be available in international markets in the coming weeks.

In the next several weeks, PopCap will also launch a DSiWare version of Plants vs. Zombies.  The title will contain Adventure mode gameplay, all four of the new mini-games from the DS adaptation and one DSiWare exclusive mini-game, Zombie Trap.

“Plants vs. Zombies is already a fan favorite on PC, iPhone, iPad, and Xbox, and with this latest incarnation, we’re bringing something special to DS enthusiasts that’ll keep players equally enthralled,” said Ed Allard, head of worldwide studios at PopCap.  “Four modes of dual-screen play, multiplayer action, four all-new mini-games, and 14 achievements offer a great combination of original gameplay and unique features that makes the backyard battle for brains fresh and fun.”

Plants vs. Zombies for the Nintendo DS has been tuned specifically for dual-screen gameplay and features multiplayer action via an ad-hoc wireless network in the game’s Versus mode, where players can go head-to-head against one another as sunflowers, or zombies. Along with this, and all three modes of original content, the game introduces unique non-stop action:

  • Heat Wave:  It’s a real scorcher!  Players have only a few plants and they tire out quickly.  Swap them around with the stylus and cheer them up with the microphone!
